Founder
Carolin is the founder of Hock Tax Services. With a master's degree in accounting and taxation from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and over 5 years of experience working for one of the largest tax advisory firms in the country (Grant Thornton LLP), she is an expert in tax planning and compliance. Originally from Germany, Carolin also spent 2 years specializing in US cross-border taxation in Montreal, Canada. As a CPA with firsthand experience navigating the complexities of multiple tax jurisdictions, she is dedicated to helping fellow expats and multinationals simplify their tax challenges and ensure compliance across borders.
Mike Jones
Sr. Accountant
Mike brings almost 2 decades of accounting experience to our firm and is in charge of cleaning up our clients' books whenever necessary. He's a big believer in simplifying accounts and helps our clients streamline their financial documenting process to save time and reduce errors. He is also consulting our clients on how to best automate bookkeeping and harness the powers of evolving AI options.
